Nollywood: Genevieve’s movie, LionHeart, makes the OSCAR’s nomination lists

The movie, LionHeart which was released on the 21st of December 2018, was written and directed by Genevieve Nnaji who also starred as the major character. Sharing the news of the OSCAR nomination on her Instagram page, Genevieve Nnaji revealed that the Nigerian Oscar Selection Committee chose the movie to represent Nigeria for the 2020 Academy Award for the Best International Film which happens to be the first time a Nigerian movie will be presented.
