The Afrobeats hitmaker announced the news on social media, proudly revealing that he now owns the master rights to every track on his 2016 debut album, New Era. The move marks a huge step in his journey toward total creative control.

Kizz Daniel dropped New Era while signed to G-Worldwide, and the album quickly became a fan favorite with timeless bangers like “Woju,” “Laye,” “Mama,” and “Good Time.” The project helped shape the Afrobeats wave and cemented his place as one of the genre’s top voices.

In 2017, he parted ways with G-Worldwide and faced a series of legal battles over his name and rights to his music. The dispute forced him to rebrand as “Kizz Daniel” after previously performing as “Kiss Daniel.”

He launched his own record label, Flyboy Inc., and continued dropping chart-topping hits, even as the battle over New Era continued in the background.

Now, after years of pushing forward, Kizz Daniel has finally reclaimed the masters of the album that started it all. The win not only protects his legacy but also boosts his future earnings as the rightful owner of his iconic debut.

Fans and fellow artists have applauded the move, seeing it as a victory for independence and empowerment in the music industry.
