BOBRISKY REACTS TO THE SAME SEX-WEDDING ARREST

Nigerian transgender, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has reacted to the mass arrest of gay suspects in Delta State.

The Delta State Police Command on 29 August 2023 arrested 67 suspects for allegedly conducting a same-sex wedding ceremony.
Bobrisky noted that, over 100 crossdressers who were arrested by the police in Delta deserved it.

This was made known in a post on his Instagram page as he claimed a lot of people had requested for his opinion on the Delta Crossdressers’ arrest.
The crossdresser wrote, “Hey guys, I want to quickly address those set of guys who were arrested in Delta. You see this class is not actually meant for everyone. But I strongly believe you can learn from those Alist.

“Firstly, there’s a law passed against you guys that you can’t marry yourself in this country. Why the hell did you all call yourself together to organize a wedding? You all deserve how you were treated,” he said
“If you feel you are in love with your partner and you want to be together why not relocate to where you are welcome?”

He highlighted that, being a crossdresser is a class not meant for just everyone, but budding ones could learn from A-listers, he added that being a gay is not something an individual is allowed to show off in this country. Bobrisky advised them to go to where they will accept their personality.

According to him those crossdresser deserved being arrested because there exists a law in the country prohibiting men from marrying men, despite knowing the implications, adding that the sad truth remains that they got all what they wanted.

Meanwhile since the anti-gay law was passed in 2014, same sex marriage have been forbidden in the country.
