In 1999, Nigeria went through a significant transition when Olusegun Obasanjo was elected as the president of the country, marking the return to democratic governance after several years of military rule. Obasanjo’s victory not only represented a pivotal moment for Nigeria but also held significant meaning for the Yoruba community.

“As far as we know, this letter writer and 3rd term seeking old man is disguisedly from Anambra State. We don’t reckon with him here in the South West. Politically, He’s a featherweight who can’t deliver his polling unit any day any time”.
