Renowned Afrobeat artist, Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, has recently disclosed his intention to return to Nigeria to participate in the candlelight event for the late singer Mohbad.
As one of the first celebrities to express his condolences for the former Marlian signee, Davido shared that he will be making his way back to Nigeria later this week to partake in the candlelight procession and pay his respects.
The candlelight procession is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 21st, commencing at 5 pm at the Lekki Phase 1 gate, while the tribute concert is set to kick off at 8 pm at Muri Okunola Park.
Davido’s decision to honor the departed artist despite his hectic schedule has garnered praise from many, highlighting his consistent willingness to use his influence to lead by example in moments of remembrance and reflection.
