EFCC Releases Billionaire Businessman, Obi Cubana

The chairman of the Cubana group, OBI IYIEGBU has regained his freedom after he was allegedly invited for questioning by the EFCC. The news of his alleged arrest became a major topic of discussion on social media today as fans and colleagues took to social media to show their support for the philanthropist and businessman.

The news about his release was shared by his colleague and friend, Instigator PH via his Instagram page.

He wrote: “Thank u Jesus!! @obi_cubana is free. We gat Jesus!!! . Dis Dance is for all my fans. I love u all.”

The socialite on his part also made a post on his Instagram page after what seem like an unusual break.

It was reported that Obi Cubana was held and interrogated by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials on Monday, November 1.

There was no confirmation on the allegations against him but it was learnt he was being quizzed on alleged money laundering and tax evasion.
