Israel DMW, a member of Nigerian singer Davido’s team, has denied making homophobic remarks about Enioluwa Adeoluwa, a well-known influencer. This comes after reports claimed that he had gone on a homophobic tirade against Enioluwa on his WhatsApp status, accusing him of being gay.
He was also alleged to have said that 30BG (Davido’s group) does not support homosexuality. “We are not in support of gay, God forbid bad thing. They are into rubbish, and their useless supporters would say it’s content,” the WhatsApp status read.
However, Israel posted on his Instagram stories to set the record straight about the reports. He explained that he did not write the post and that it was, in fact, written by people pretending to be him.
Israel DMW wrote, “The write-up was never from me. It is purely a manufactured fake account from impersonators. Thanks, everyone. Never from me at all. I have no such account. Thanks, everyone.”
Enioluwa had earlier called out Davido for allegedly threatening his life after he turned down an invitation to join the singer on his private jet to an event in Botswana.
Enioluwa had shared screenshots of alleged threatening messages from Davido, where he was threatened with bodily harm and asked to retract a statement he made about Davido’s fiancée, Chioma Avril Rowland.
Following Enioluwa’s claims, Davido took to Twitter to address the issue, stating that he never threatened anyone’s life.
