Yesterday, Mohbad’s father questioned the legitimacy of his late son’s will, expressing disbelief at the use of a thumbprint instead of a signature by the well-educated 26-year-old.

Joseph Aloba challenged the will, alleging it was doctored. He emphasized the absence of a doctor at Mohbad’s house during the news of his death.

The management contradicted Joseph, stating there’s no will or thumbprinted document. They urged him to refrain from spreading false information.

Last week, Joseph accused his son’s wife and lawyer, Femi Falana, of threatening him. He claimed his life was in danger, seeking help and expressing his powerlessness.

In an emotional song, Mohbad’s father lamented the world’s cruelty, claiming it used his son against him. He pleaded with God for assistance, portraying his human vulnerability.

Mohbad’s father faced criticism for defending Naira Marley’s influence on his son. He defended Marley’s actions, causing public disdain and raising doubts about his paternal connection.

The quick burial of Mohbad also stirred controversy. In an interview, Mr. Aloba attributed it to tradition. He addressed concerns about the burial location, explaining it was the only land he knew belonging to the singer, located beside a cassava farm.
