The false news went viral when his P.A took to social media to announce that Shatta Wale had been shot by unknown gunmen and that he was in a hospital recovering after the attack.

Shatta Wale and three of his accomplice were granted bail after appearing before an Accra Circuit Court in the sum of one hundred thousand Ghana cedis and also based on self-recognition.

They were also granted bail on grounds that they had been counselled, and they are not being a flight risk, as they will not escape trial.

The case has since been adjourned and the accused will re-appear in court on 9th November.
