2027 Showdown: VeryDarkMan Warns Davido, ChiefPriest—”Campaign“ for APC and We’re Done!”
Social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) just dropped a political bombshell—he says he’ll cut ties with music star Davido and celebrity socialite Cubana ChiefPriest if they publicly support the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.

“I don’t care who you vote for privately. But if you start campaigning for APC—or any political party—I’ll stand against you. Don’t mislead the people because of money.”
VDM didn’t beat around the bush. After Davido and ChiefPriest paid a visit to the Presidential Villa, he posted a blunt message on Instagram, warning them to stay out of party politics—or lose his friendship.
In his video, VDM made his position crystal clear:
“I don’t care who you vote for privately. But if you start campaigning for APC—or any political party—I’ll stand against you. Don’t mislead the people because of money.”
He called on celebrities to stay neutral and let politicians speak for themselves.
VDM didn’t stop at Davido and ChiefPriest. He called out all influencers, warning them not to sell politicians to the public.
“If any politician wants support, let him campaign on his own. Don’t let celebrities deceive the people who love them. Nigerians deserve honest choices.”
VDM’s warning stings more because of his close bond with Davido. He attended Davido’s lavish wedding to Chioma in June 2024, showing their tight friendship. But now, politics threatens to break that bond.
VDM wrapped up his message with a call for democracy:
“If Nigerians want to vote for Tinubu again, that’s their choice. But no celebrity should influence them. Let the people decide what works best for them.”
With the 2027 elections on the horizon, Nigeria’s political heat is rising—and the drama is spilling from the ballot box straight onto social media.
