American rapper, DMX is said to be in a critical condition in ICU

The US rapper reportedly had a heart attack after he overdosed on hard drugs in his house before he was rushed to the hospital where he was checked into the ICU. A foreign media house, however, reported that doctors have revealed that there is low brain activity with the unconscious rapper and he may not make it back from the coma.

Below is the statement that the rapper’s family put out

“We are issuing this statement to combat all the false and misleading reports that are circulating on social media. Last night Earl “DMX” Simmons was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at home. At this time he remains in ICU in critical condition. Earl has been a warrior his entire life. This situation represents yet another road he must cross.
