Kendrick Lamar has ignited the hip-hop scene with his explosive diss track “Euphoria,” aimed directly at Drake.

Dropping unexpectedly on Tuesday (April 30) via X (formerly Twitter), Lamar’s “Euphoria” comes as a fiery retort to Drake’s recent provocations in “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Starting the track off in a subdued manner over a sample of Teddy Pendergrass’s “You’re My Latest, My Greatest Inspiration,” Kendrick warns the “6 God” that he’s more than ready to engage in a battle to determine who is the best rapper of their generation, saying that Drake was not a “rap artist but a scam artist.”

Lamar raps, “Know you a master manipulator and a b*tch/ You a liar, too/ But don’t tell no lie ’bout me, and I won’t tell truths ’bout you.”

Then the track transforms into a completely different beat, and Lamar takes it to a new level with the rapid-fire flow and energetic delivery that made him a legend in the eyes of many.

For the next six minutes, Lamar launches an all-out verbal assault over a track that keeps switching, leaving no doubt that Drake is his main target. He even mentions J. Cole for good measure.

“Yeah, Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish n***a / The crown is heavy, huh?”

He then lets Drake know everything he hates about him with line after line.

Kendrick continues, “It’s always been about love and hate, now let me say I’m the biggest hater / I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk / I hate the way you sneak diss, if I catch flight, it’s gon’ be direct.”

He claims he likes “Drake with the melodies, I don’t like Drake when he act tough.”

Lamar then shows love to Lil Yachty and Sexyy Red before taking more shots at Drake for being nicknamed “The Boy.”

“Some sh*t just cringeworthy / It ain’t even gotta be deep I guess … I know they call you The Boy, but where’s the man / ‘Cause I ain’t seen him yet.”

The beef between Lamar and Drake has been brewing for years, but it got serious  when Lamar attacked both Drake and J. Cole with a guest verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s track “Like That.”

J. Cole responded on “7 Minute Drill” but later asked Lamar to forgive him for making the record.

With “Euphoria,” Lamar has set off a bomb reverberating throughout hip-hop culture.
