In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Davido got candid, revealing that Chioma has been a major source of his success.

“My wife has always had this thing over me since we were young. Every time I fight her, something bad happens to my business,” he shared.

According to the Afrobeats star, Chioma doesn’t hesitate to remind him of her influence.

“If I’m fighting her, she’ll say, ‘You’re fighting me? And your album is about to drop? Okay o.’ Then I’ll start begging her. She has that grace,” he added with a laugh.

Davido Talks Family & Growth

The singer also opened up about how Chioma has built a strong bond with his children from other women.

“My kids love my wife, especially my daughter. There was a time I was scared to bring them around her, but now there’s been a lot of growth,” Davido said.

He also revealed they’ve been together for more than a decade.

“We’ve been together for 11 years. We met in school — I was 18, she was 17.”
