DDG Seeks Court Order to Stop Halle Bailey from International Travel with Son Halo

Rapper and YouTuber DDG has filed an emergency court motion to stop actress Halle Bailey from traveling internationally with their 17-month-old son, Halo. On June 4, 2025, DDG asked a Los Angeles court to prevent Bailey from taking Halo to Italy, claiming the trip could put the child at serious risk.

In the motion, DDG’s real name, Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., requested a domestic violence restraining order. He alleged that Bailey poses an “emotional and psychological risk” to both him and their son, citing repeated threats of self-harm. He argued that if Bailey leaves the country, Halo would lose the court’s protection and access to emergency intervention.

DDG also described a past incident where Bailey allegedly took his gun during a heated argument and left the house with it. He claimed he later found her outside, emotionally unstable and holding the weapon.

This legal battle follows a court ruling in May 2025 that granted Bailey temporary physical and legal custody of Halo. In her earlier filing, Bailey accused DDG of emotional and physical abuse. The court ordered DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from Bailey and Halo, but that restraining order expired on June 4.

Bailey also requested that the court deny DDG unsupervised visitation and instead allow weekly supervised visits for six hours while Halo remains in Los Angeles. Additionally, she asked the court to ban DDG from taking Halo outside of L.A. County.

The former couple started dating in 2022 and split in 2024. As the drama unfolds, fans are closely watching how the high-profile custody fight between Halle Bailey and DDG will impact their futures—and their son’s.
