Nigerian singer and Songwriter, Korede Bello currently still with the Mavin Records and popularly known for his hit song ‘Godwin’, which topped many music charts in Nigeria.
In a chat with Max FM OAPs on the Award-winning Wetin Dey show, he made a statement on his latest song ‘Melanin Popping’ by saying; “The Melanin is the beauty of African dignity and the beauty of the African women”.
“It is the thing that makes your skin dark and what also makes it blossom.”
Korede also revealed his favourite song titled ‘Favourite song” and it is so because he had been working on the song since 2009 and was also among the songs in his album (Belloved).
Korede went on to debunk rumours of him having left Mavin Records by stating; ‘I am still with Mavin Records.” He also said he has a very close relationship with God.
When asked who his favorite female artiste was, he said ‘Chidinma’.
