Afro Nation’s 5th Anniversary: New Artists Join Burna Boy and Tems on LIT Stage

Afro Nation, the largest celebration of Afrobeats and Amapiano, will mark its fifth anniversary in 2025 with an exciting artist lineup.

Alongside Burna Boy and Tems, new additions include rising star Ayra Starr, French hip-hop artists Franglish and Tiakola, London’s Gabzy, and Afro-Congo’s Innoss’B. The event will take place on the beach in Portimão from July 9-11, 2025.

Additionally, global Amapiano stars Piano People, including DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, will make their Portugal debut. Multi-platinum artist DBN Gogo will join them, along with talents like Oskido, Rosey Gold, Vigro Deep, Mörda, and KMAT, ensuring a vibrant experience.

Since 2019, Afro Nation has celebrated the richness of African culture, uniting the global diaspora through music, fashion, and food. The Malachite Group (TMG) noted, “We have exciting plans for our fifth anniversary in Portugal! This is just the beginning.”

As anticipation grows, TMG has also organized pre-festival events, including Afro Nation Presents LIT on October 4 and Piano People Presents Kelvin Momo on October 5.
