An unknown Nigerian Facebook user allegedly burnt his stylish Super Eagles jersey following the 2-0 loss to Croatia in Kaliningrad.
The unnamed person reportedly burnt the jersey worth N41,000 showing disgust on the performance of Gernot Rohr’s men against the Eastern Europeans.
It is unclear if the jersey was the original version of the official Nike kit for the national team to the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Nigeria conceded a goal in each half of the match as the three-time Africa champions tasted their first defeat in Group D.
An unfortunate own goal from Oghenekaro Etebo towards the end of the first half put the Croats ahead in the match.
