Chris Brown Speaks Out After UK Arrest Over London Nightclub Assault
Chris Brown has broken his silence following his recent arrest in the UK over an alleged nightclub assault.
Police arrested the American R&B superstar on May 15, 2025, at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester, linking him to a 2023 incident at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London. Authorities say Brown assaulted music producer Abraham Diaw with a tequila bottle, leaving him seriously injured. They charged the 36-year-old singer with grievous bodily harm.
After his release, Chris Brown took to Instagram Stories to react. He posted a sleek photo of himself stepping off a private jet and wrote, “FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!! BREEZYBOWL.” He followed up with another post that read, “Cook, remain humble.”
The Greater Manchester Police confirmed they arrested Chris Brown on behalf of London’s Metropolitan Police, who are still investigating the case.
Although the police kept Chris Brown’s passport, they will release it temporarily so he can honor his upcoming tour dates in the Netherlands and Germany. However, fans are still waiting to hear if the rest of his Breezy Bowl European Tour will continue past June 20, 2025.
Despite the controversy, Chris Brown’s loyal fanbase continues to rally behind him online, showing support and hoping for a quick resolution to the case.
