Nigerian record producer, Michael Collins Ajereh is popularly known as Don Jazzy in his latest post reveals he doesn’t understand why Nigerians don’t really support their own celebrity or follow them on social media
He said he feels “some type of way” when he goes through a Nigerian’s account and sees them following Lori Harvey, Kim Kardashian, and Co but they aren’t following Genevieve Nnaji and other Nigerian talents.
He said it seems unpatriotic and we are not helping our stars grow when we do that.
“Some will be like I don’t follow Nigerian celebrities with pride sef. This following of a thing no be say we Dey pay for am o.I just feel like we can support more. Buy Nigeria grow the naira. With the numbers we have we can be having some interesting conversations globally if we get all the support we can get. I’m just saying sha. I come in peace”.
