Eniola Badmus, a Nollywood actress, launched a scathing attack on her colleague and childhood friend, Laide Bakare.
The feud erupted when Badmus mocked Bakare for her unconventional outfit at a book launch over the weekend, comparing it to Pastor Adejaraās attire. This jibe didn’t sit well with Bakare, who retaliated on Instagram.
Bakare accused Badmus and other colleagues of failing to celebrate her victories but eagerly highlighting her faults. She asserted that Badmus had been seeking trouble openly, despite their shared history as childhood friends.
In response, Badmus reminded Bakare of past instances where she had criticized her for lacking a family and supporting President Tinubu during elections, despite claiming to be her friend on social media.
Badmus warned Bakare not to underestimate her, asserting her readiness for conflict and labeling herself a “War Lord.”
She emphasized that her previous silence to Bakare’s provocations didn’t signify weakness.
āMadam childhood friend how come you lost your brain in my DM when you were shaming me four days ago youāre quick to come to the public to say Iām your childhood friend but you shamed me in my DM that I donāt have a child and a family but you did not remember I was ur childhood friend in the industry. Even shamed me for supporting My President Bola Tinubu. Laide you know me too well that when it comes to Vawulence I am a War Lord.
The fact that you called me out the other time and I did not reply you doesnāt mean am weak I just decided to let you doesnāt mean am weak. I just decided to let you be OLAIDE SHAKIRAT BAKARE. Ori n ta e. MICHAEL JACKSON OF OUR TIMEā.
Laide Bakare replied her stating that she can never do such as she isnāt God. She noted how Eniola is always first to trimm her as she admonished her to stop assuming she is finer than Laide.
āRemember Iām not God I canāt Crete mosquito, not to talk of child. So I wonāt do that. Na you first come to my DM to call me Devil o. And several unprinted names. You are always first to die sha. Eniola Badmus stop assuming you are now finer and better than me o. Ha! Mo da ju e lo ooo hen henā.

The clash between Laide and Eniola surprised many, given their recent encounter at an event in Abuja. Laide expressed her excitement by posting photos on her Instagram page, reminiscing about their past friendship.
She happily mentioned that she reunited with Eniola in Abuja, referring to her as a prominent figure.
