Get To Know More About YBNL’s New Signings
YBNL Boss and street King, Olamide Adedeji, better known as Olamide Baddo has added two young music sensations to his record label – Lyta and Limerick.
Lyta and Limerick are the latest additions to YBNL reccord label after YBNL Princess, Temmie Ovwasa. Both of them have recorded their songs and were released yesterday February 19, 2018 featuring Olamide himself.
In a chat with the Wetin Dey family, Lyta revealed that music found him at age 13 and was opportune to meet Olamide at an event where he performed. The YBNL Boss was thrilled by his display and called him to his side to give him freestyles and that was how it started.
He also said that the loss of his best friend in 2017 inspired him to write the song – TIME.
Lyta, 16, is a native of Kwara state and born in Ajegunle.
Fortune Ibrahim, aka Limerick hails from Owan East, Edo state and was born in Mangoro, Ikeja, Lagos state.
Limerick also revealed that he met Olamide through Instagram. He made it known that Olamide came across his song which he posted on Instagram and received a DM from the father-of-one and the rest is history.
Limerick is a rapper, attends National Open University of Nigeria.
Limerick also revealed that ‘Olamide is a generous & kind-hearted person who looks down on no-one and is always willing to help”.
Limerick and Lyta are both Chelsea fans.
Reports have it that Lyta and Limerick have been performing on stage together for a very long time and fate has brought them together again into one of the biggest record labels in Nigeria. The ‘Never-Give-Up’ spirit worked here.
