Hermes and Toluwani stopped by Max FM for a lively chat with Realskillz and Bibi Rai, and they opened up about the toughest parts of shooting Rise Again. The conversation felt easy, almost like they were finally letting people in on what really happened on set.

Hermes and Toluwani share behind-the-scenes stories from the Rise Again movie in their Max FM interview.
To start with, Hermes talked about playing the villain. He admitted it felt strange at first because the character sits on the complete opposite side of who he is in real life. He tried several times to slip into that darker mindset, although it felt heavy and awkward. Eventually, he kept pushing, tried new approaches, and slowly settled into the role until it finally made sense. You could tell he felt proud of that breakthrough.
Toluwani had her own challenge too. She plays a spoiled rich kid, and even though she called herself a daddy’s girl, she grew up disciplined and hardworking. Acting carefree and dramatic felt unfamiliar, so she had to relax into the character before things clicked. Once she understood the girl she was playing, the performance flowed better.
Their honesty made the interview fun to follow, and it added more excitement around Rise Again, especially for fans waiting to see how those challenges shaped their performances.
