Nigerian singer Orezi, also known as Esegine Allen, has announced the heartbreaking death of his father, Esegine Samson, just months after celebrating his birthday.
Orezi father’s death
Orezi took to Instagram to express his deep pain and grief, revealing that his father passed away only hours before he shared the emotional tribute. The Rihanna crooner described the loss as the most painful experience of his life.
“Death, a debt we all must pay… In the last couple of hours, my world crashed. Death took my guardian angel, my greatest cheerleader, my mentor, and my role model,” he wrote.
The singer said he feels shattered, heartbroken, and overwhelmed by sorrow.
“I am shattered. This pain is unlike anything I’ve ever felt,” Orezi admitted.
“It feels like a dream. Daddy, please wake up! I’ve cried and cried, and the tears still flow.”
Orezi poured out his emotions, sharing how difficult it is to accept the loss. He also asked his fans and friends to pray for him and his family during this difficult time.
“Till we meet again to part no more, Esegine Samson. I love you forever, Daddy. My dear fans and friends, please say a prayer for my family and me.”
This sad news comes less than three months after Orezi joyfully celebrated his father’s birthday, showing the strong bond they shared.
