Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has claimed he is the best actor in the whole of Africa, a statement that has left many people disagreeing. The movie star made this known in a post he made on his Instagram page.

“I Am the Best Actor in Africa” – Yul Edochie Declares

According to the actor, a lot of people have been opining that he just might be the best actor in the whole continent of Africa. He has however decided to confirm this speculation by noting that he is indeed the best actor in Africa.

His words read,

“Many people are saying that Yul Edochie is the best actor in Africa.
Actually they’re right. I AM.”

Edochie’s assertion has generated varied reactions from social media users, with some supporting his confidence and others mocking him over the statement. However, others also think he makes such statements frequently because he wants to trend on social media.

Recall that Yul Edochie joined Nollywood in 2005 with his debut film, The Exquires, where he starred alongside Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa. He gained significant recognition in 2007 for his role in Wind of Glory, alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot.

Since then, Yul has appeared in numerous films and has also received several prestigious awards, including Best New Actor of the Year and Best Actor of the Year from City People Entertainment, as well as Best Actor from Pamsaa, among others.
