Ice Prince Announces Readiness to Marry After Years of Doubt
Nigerian rap icon Panshak “Ice Prince” Zamani has revealed that he’s now ready to get married—a major shift from his long-held views on commitment.

During an exclusive interview on The MaxHits Show, the 37-year-old artist opened up about this personal transformation and what led to his change of heart.
For years, Ice Prince was openly skeptical about marriage. In a 2014 interview, he admitted that he didn’t feel mentally prepared for such a serious commitment:
“I don’t think I am mentally ready for marriage… I think before one could get married, one needs to attain a certain level of understanding and awareness. I don’t think I have those qualities just yet.”
Now, more than a decade later, his outlook has evolved:
“I am not yet married, but I intend to… I used to think I would never get married.”
He explained that the shift didn’t happen overnight. With time and life experience, his mindset started to mature:
“I just started feeling like I would like to get married recently. As I get older, my mentality began to change a little bit.”
According to Ice Prince, surrounding himself with positive influences made a big impact. He started reading more books and spending time with married friends – experiences that inspired him to reconsider his views on marriage.
“I started reading books more, I started hanging out with a lot of married people. A lot of friends are married, and being with these people inspires me to want to get married.”
Reflecting on his younger days, he laughed and said:
“In my 20s, I used to be one of those people that used to say, ‘Marriage? Never!’”
