Indecent dressing is not an invitation to rape – Actor Yul Edochie
Nigerian actor, named after popular Russian actor Yul Brynner, Yul Edochie, has joined the ongoing conversation about rape and his view on the issue has left many people impressed.
The talented actor took to his Twitter page to talk about indecent dressing. He made it clear he does not support indecent dressing. However, a woman dressed indecently is not an open invitation for her to get raped.
According to him, even if she has agreed to be intimate with a man for a fee and goes back on her word after collecting the money, the man involved should apply non-violent means in getting his money back rather than raping her.
He wrote: “I do not encourage indecent dressing. But no matter how indecently dressed she is, guy it’s not an invitation for rape. If you both agreed on a pay as you go, you pay, she no wan give you, get ur money back through non-violent means. Do not touch her. There’s no excuse for rape.”
