Messi has been bounced by Ronaldo as the World highest paid football earners

Professional Portugal footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo,  who recently moved to Manchester United, plays as a forward, has outsold his Paris Saint-Germain counter, Lionel Messi, as the highest earner in world football.

Messi has just recently joined PSG from FC Barcelona and his current earning is reportedly around €94 million gross, with a salary of €64 million.

According to Forbes, Ronaldo is set to earn $125 million before taxes in the 2021-22 season, with $70 million coming from salary and bonus for his return to United. Other income earnings are gotten from personal endorsements and partnerships with brands.
