Nasboi Continues Davido Feature Tour After Surviving Car Accident

Nigerian skit maker and singer Nasboi has vowed to continue his 36-state tour to secure a feature from Afrobeats superstar Davido, despite surviving a recent car accident.

On June 4, 2025, Nasboi shared an official statement from Abuja, confirming that he and his team were involved in an accident while traveling for the tour. He had already visited eight states with placards publicly asking Davido for a music verse when the crash occurred. Thankfully, no lives were lost.

“I survived the accident, and I’m thankful,” Nasboi wrote. “What started as a dream to get Davido’s attention has now turned into something much deeper—it’s about showing the world that determination doesn’t quit after a setback.”

The comedian-turned-musician launched the #NasboiDavidoFeatureTour just eight days earlier and quickly grabbed the attention of fans and media. His campaign sparked online conversations about ambition, resilience, and the hustle in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

Nasboi addressed the criticism surrounding his tour, with some calling it desperate. He dismissed the claims and clarified his intentions. “I’m not doing this out of desperation. I’m doing it with purpose,” he said. “People may not understand the vision now, but I believe in what I’m chasing.”

He also encouraged others facing challenges to keep moving forward. “This journey isn’t just about me anymore. It’s for every creative trying to make something out of nothing,” he added.

Nasboi plans to complete the tour across all 36 states, no matter the obstacles. While the ultimate goal remains a collaboration with Davido, his message of perseverance is already resonating with fans.
