January 16th marked the 61st birthday of Nigerian-British singer, songwriter, Helen Folasade Adu popularly known as Sade Adu. The British veteran singer Sade Adu who has been credited as one of the most successful British female artists in history was born in Ibadan, Nigeria but raised in Essex, UK. She has one female child,Mickaila, who recently became a trans-gender male.
