Written by on May 22, 2018

Popular Nigerian Music Artiste, Seyi Shay who recently released her EP titled “Electric Package” comes out to clear the air about drug abuse allegations.

In a new mini-documentary launched alongside her new EP, she said:

I think that it’s a price that we celebrities have to pay. There’s this stereotype that musicians are into drugs and all they do is smoke weed all day, It’s okay for people to speculate that. But its not true for many artistes and I think that its unfair to be subject to such harsh accusations” .

The songstress who trended in 2016 for the blunders she made on Telelevision such as when she pronounced “Two” as ‘”Tuwo” and  she mistakenly claimed that the acronym “EP” (which originally means Extended Play) means “Electric Package” addressed the issues in the video. She also explained the painful aftermath of her embarrassing fall during a performance at the 2017 AFRIMA awards stating that she cried.
