#NYFW 2018: Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Show celebrated Womanhood & Inclusivity

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019 closed with a provocative show by Savage x Fenty, the latest brainchild of the pop star and in an epic way that only Rihanna is capable of pulling off. She unveiled the collection a few hours before the show online and teased fans with a sneak peek video on her Instagram page.

For the Garden of Eden themed show, the pop star used 30 diverse models of different body types and races to showcase the new season’s pieces including a pregnant Slick Woods who wore black nipple pasties with a sexy cut-out bodysuit that showed off her baby bump, followed by another pregnant model in a sheer nude bodysuit, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Duckie Thot, Paloma Elsesser,amongst others – reminding us all of her focus on inclusivity and diversity with Fenty Beauty and now Savage x Fenty.

The show celebrated women and sisterhood to the fullest extent with beautiful dance performances, symbolic choreography, and a theatrical display.
