Oxlade Announces His Sophomore Album ‘OXNB’ , A New Era of Sound and Soul

Afrobeats star Oxlade is ready to turn up the volume again. He just announced his sophomore album, ‘OXNB  a project that signals bold growth and a deeper, more refined sound.

Afrobeats singer Oxlade performing live on stage while promoting his sophomore album OXNB, surrounded by lights and cheering fans.

Oxlade teases his upcoming sophomore album ‘OXNB’ with soulful performances and fresh energy for 2025.

Born Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, Oxlade has carved a space for himself as one of Afrobeats’ most distinctive voices. His smooth vocals, emotional delivery, and effortless blend of rhythm and soul have made him a fan favorite since his breakout hit “Away.”

Now, with OXNB’, he’s exploring what he calls “a more mature frequency,” pushing his artistry into new emotional and sonic territory.

Oxlade hinted that OXNB captures the ups and downs of love, fame, and self-awareness, wrapped in lush instrumentals and soulful harmonies. “It’s a letter from the man I’ve become,” he shared a hint that the album will balance vulnerability with groove.

The project is expected to drop later this year on all major streaming platforms. According to insiders, it features top producers and a few surprise collaborations with big names in the Afrobeats scene.

For Oxlade, this album marks a turning point. After the viral success of Kulosa” and the impact of his debut, OXNB feels like the next chapter and his chance to prove he’s not just a fleeting voice but a defining one for the future of Afrobeats.

He’s already stirring excitement online with short teasers and snippets across X (Twitter) and TikTok. Fans can expect a rich rollout live sessions, intimate performances, and that unmistakable falsetto that always hits straight to the heart.

As the buzz grows, one thing stands out: ‘OXNB isn’t just another album. It’s Oxlade finding his rhythm again  only this time, it sounds bigger, braver, and a little more personal.
