According to the singer, organizers paid him ₦30 million just to accept the fight. After defeating Speed Darlington via a technical knockout, he received an additional ₦20 million as a victory bonus.
Portable further claimed that Grammy-winning superstar Burna Boy, who has reportedly had past issues with Speed Darlington, gifted him another ₦20 million following the match.
“They first gave me ₦30M to accept the fight,” Portable said. “Then they said if I win, I’d get another ₦20M. After I beat him and even injured him, Uncle Burna sent ₦20M. In total, I made ₦70M in about three days.”
