Portable reacts to Bobrisky’s name change on Instagram video
Controversial Nigerian singer Portable, born Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, has reacted strongly to Bobrisky’s recent name change. In a viral Instagram video, Portable mocked the cross-dresser and challenged him to a physical fight.

Bobrisky, whose real name was Idris Okuneye, recently adopted a new identity as Afolashade Amope Okuneye. He announced the change on social media, claiming he has fully transitioned into a woman.
Portable didn’t take the announcement lightly. In his video, he questioned Bobrisky’s transformation, claiming money was used to alter his body. He ridiculed the change and demanded ₦100 million and a Ferrari to show up for a face-off.
“If na fight you want, I go scatter your face with one blow,” Portable said. “Come back to Nigeria if you get liver!”
He also urged Bobrisky’s mother to caution her child and warned that he was ready for a physical showdown.
Bobrisky: “Accept It, I’m Now A Woman”
Earlier this week, Bobrisky shared the details of his transition on Instagram. He proudly revealed that he had undergone several procedures to match his female identity. According to him, criticism won’t stop his journey.
“It’s time y’all accept Bob is now a woman,” he wrote. “I’ve done everything. Congratulations to me. I can now collect gbola like all women.”
Bobrisky made it clear that he has no regrets. He said he’s proud of himself and won’t let online trolls derail his goals. He also addressed questions about motherhood.
“Before you open your dirty mouth to ask if I have a womb, I don’t need it,” he added. “I love how married men spend heavily on me. I’m not here to destroy homes—I’m here to keep marriages intact.”
