Real Madrid has reportedly submitted an official bid of 160 million euros for France’s superstar, Kylian Mbappe. The 22-year-old has constantly told Paris Saint-Germain ( PSG ) that he wants to leave the club despite the signing of Lionel Messi from Barcelona.

Mbappe’s contract at the Ligue 1 club expires next summer and he will leave as a free agent if he cannot sign a new deal. The 160 million euro bid is the same amount PSG signed the youngster from Monaco in 2017. This placed him as the second most expensive player behind Brazil’s Neymar, who was signed for 220 million pounds from Barcelona.

Talk sport reputedly confirmed the news, Real Madrid has sold a lot of players (Martin Odegaard, Raphael Varane, Sergio Reguilon) in the past transfer window to help fund the deal to sign Mbappe.

There are rumours that Mbappe’s exit from PSG will pave way for the French club to bring in Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus. The Portuguese star is in the final year of his contract and has no intentions to remain in Turin next season.
