Real Madrid came from behind to come out as run-away winners at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich courtesy of goals from Marcelo and Asensio, giving Real an advantage ahead of the second leg next Tuesday at the Bernabeu.

Joshua Kimmich gave Bayern the lead in the 28th minute before Marcelo struck a left footed effort on the edge of the box after being set up from the right by Carvajal to level the score going into the break.
Before the end of the first-half, Bayern Munich lost Arjen Robben and Jerome Boateng to injuries.
Real capitalised on Rafinha’s error, allowing Lucas and Asensio combine brilliantly on the counter as the Mallorca-born attacker finished calmly by chipping the ball into the corner of the net.
Bayern pressed high, trying to find an equaliser but Real Madrid maintained good momemtum despite breath-taking moved from Bayern Munich in Madrid’s box. As a result of this, Bayern go into the second leg knowing fully well that they must score at least two goals at the Bernabeu to stand a chance of reaching the final for the first time since 2013.
