Afro Kitty Shines Globally with New Track: Silly NOW by Afro Kitty Captures Afrobeats Energy

Written by on November 17, 2025

Afro Kitty Brings Afrobeats Vibes to Korea with Her Latest Hit, Silly NOW by Afro Kitty

South Korea keeps surprising the global music space, and maybe that’s why Afro Kitty’s latest move instantly pulls attention. She works as a singer and streamer, and she fronts the online handle “silly music”. She pushed out fresh content throughout October 2025, and her new track “NOW” landed with the kind of quiet confidence fans quickly connect to. Her Korean friend produced the song, and she laughed, saying he barely talks, which oddly adds a little charm to the story.

Meanwhile, during a chat with Emcee RnB on Yanga FM, she revealed what fuels her current sound. She said Nigeria drew her in because it stands as the heartbeat of Afrobeats, and she felt the energy hit her immediately. She probably sensed that spark people mention when they first hear the drums and the bounce, which motivated her to tap into it and let it guide her next chapter.

Afterwards, she explained how her journey into the Nigerian music space began with a cover of “Love Nwantiti” by CKay. Ckay never acknowledged it, and she simply shrugged while sharing the moment, almost as if she had already moved on. What brightened the story came from the artists who actually noticed her. Asake, Joeboy, Fireboy, Kizz Daniel, and Olamide reposted her cover on their Instagram stories, and she said the recognition made her genuinely happy because she already admired them.

Overall, it’s still early days for Afro Kitty, and you can hear that blend of pop instinct and Afrobeats rhythm in her delivery.
