The Alaafin of Oyo celebrated his 81st birthday yesterday the 15th of October at the palace, the event was attended by other kings, chiefs, the religious community and the Oyo indigenes who came to celebrate with the Monarch. There was a large birthday cake presented by his grandchildren.
