During Taylor Swift’s second Eras Tour show in Milan. A problem arose with the piano while she was performing “Getaway Car” as part of the secret songs segment on July 14.
Swift, 34, surprised her fans with two unexpected mashups earlier in the concert, including a mix of “Mr. Perfectly Fine” from Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and “Red” from Red (TV) on guitar.
The issue occurred when Swift moved to the piano to perform a mashup of “Getaway Car” from Reputation and “Out of the Woods,” but she couldn’t continue past the opening lines because the piano, painted with colourful flowers, malfunctioned.
In a fan video shared on TikTok, Swift joked with the audience, saying, “We have finally broken this thing,” as she peeked under the piano lid. A crew member was seen attempting to fix the instrument.
Another video shared on X (formerly Twitter) captured the moment when Swift triumphantly closed the lid after repairing the piano herself, exclaiming, “Oh, I did it!”
This incident added a memorable twist to Swift’s ongoing European tour, which has seen her delighting audiences with special song selections and memorable performances across various countries.
