Nigerian singer and songwriter Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, professionally known as Kizz Daniel, was our guest on the award-winning Max Wetindey show with Wale Powpowpow.

When asked on the show how he came about the name ‘Vado the great’, the singer mentioned that the name is a Mexican name which means intersections.

As the show continued, he was asked why he titled his new album “King Of Love”.

He said: “love is everything and every song, on the album, represents an experience in living and loving.”

The “Woju” crooner also revealed the reason he didn’t feature anyone on his new album.

“I work best when I work alone… My album before this one had a lot of collaborations; I featured artists from different parts of the world like Major Lazer, Davido and others, so I decided to do something different this time and do it alone.”

“When you want to create music, you need a target audience; you need to know why you make music, the reasons you are doing the music, and the purpose”.

He was asked the most significant lessons he has ever had in the music industry.

“Not all that glitters are gold… Don’t use other people’s wristwatches to check your time; wear your own wristwatch to check your time,” he said.

Talking about his song “Ada,” the talented singer said:
“Ada is the name of the first daughter of a home and they are special to us, so that song is dedicated to all first daughters of every home.”
