Zion, Chinwe Argue Over Breakup on BBNaija Reunion
The BBNaija Season 9 Reunion kicked off with serious drama on Monday night as ex-housemates and former lovers, Zion and Chinwe, went head-to-head over who really ended their relationship.
During the highly anticipated episode hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Zion claimed he was the one who walked away from the relationship, saying they were simply heading in different directions in life.
“I basically ended things,” he said. “Because I felt like we were moving in different places in our lives -how she let it play out.”
But Chinwe wasn’t having it.
“That’s a lie,” she fired back, clearly upset. “What Zion will not do is sit here and lie on me now. You could have owned the narrative, my love. What do you mean you broke up with me?”
Chinwe didn’t stop there. She painted a picture of Zion being distant and unbothered. She recalled asking him to spend the night with her before she travelled, but instead, he went clubbing, switched off his phone, and later claimed he couldn’t get a ride despite passing by their area to crash at his friend’s place.
She also revealed that things got even messier because Zion’s family and friends never really liked her. According to Chinwe, they turned cold after she shared on the show that she helped fund Zion’s journey to BBNaija.
As emotions ran high, the episode got social media buzzing, with fans taking sides and dissecting every word.
