I Wasn’t Paid For The Wedding Party Movie- Broda Shaggi

Popular skit maker and comedian Broda Shaggi in an interview with Wale Powpowpow on the Max Wetin Dey has shared that he was not paid for the part he played in the movie ‘The Wedding Party’.
The Wedding Party is a Nigerian romantic comedy drama directed by Kemi Adetiba; it was released in December 2016. Starring in the movie were the likes of Banky Wellington, Adesua Etomi, Sola Sobowale, Iretiola Doyle and a host of others.
During the interview, Broda Shaggi aka Samuel Perry was asked to recount one of his worst moments, he then spoke about being an extra in the award-winning movie Wedding Party whilst other ‘extras’ got paid, he received no payment for acting in the movie at all as he had not attained the status of fame he is currently enjoying.
Broda Shaggi went further to state that his part in the movie was quite unnoticeable too and not many have realized he was amongst the cast of the film. He added many of those in the movie who did not know him, nor his name are no friends with him.
