2baba, Banky W React To National Assembly Invasion By DSS

The Nigerian National Assembly was taken over by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on August 7 amidst claims that there was an attempt to forcibly remove Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia aka 2baba has now reacted to the invasion of the National Assembly complex by DSS operatives on his Twitter page. The unlikely activist made it known that only a few know the true happenings surrounding the fight for and against democracy as regarding the siege that shut down the legislative arm of the Nigerian government. He expressed his disappointment over the current situation of the country and stated that Nigerians should be wary of being fooled by certain people who are playing games with ‘no shame’. He said in his tweet that:
“only few know exactly what went down at the national assembly. now poor ordinary nigerians have taken sides and are fighting each other. pls dont let these polititians fool u. theres no shame in their game anymore”

In the same light, popular R’n’ B singer, Banky W also dropped his opinion on the matter in a series of tweets where he stated that the political drama tugging at the current administration is dividing the citizens more than ever. He said:
“Politicians are playing musical chairs with our country’s destiny. Instead of us coming together & cancelling ALL of them, some of us are picking sides, fighting on their behalf & FALSELY accusing ourselves. News flash: They’re ALL out 4 SelfInterest. We need an entirely new path”
