Celebrities have paid touching tributes to DMX, following the rapper’s tragic death on Friday (Apr 9).
The 50-year-old rapper, real name Earl Simmons, died after suffering a heart attack from an alleged drug overdose, at his home in White Plains, New York.
Many celebrities have paid tribute to DMX following his death. DMX’s record label Def Jam Recordings paid tribute to the rapper, stating that his legacy will live on forever.
“His message of triumph over struggle, his search for the light out of darkness, his pursuit of truth and grace brought us closer to our own humanity,” the statement Def Jam statement said.
