The Instagram post, which featured a photo of the two actors in what many interpreted as a romantic embrace, quickly went viral — but not for the reasons RMD may have hoped.
In the image, RMD and Oboli appear closely locked in a warm, intimate pose. While some fans brushed it off as a harmless throwback from a movie set, others saw it as crossing a line — especially considering that both actors are married and have grown children.
“Of all the countless photos of Omoni Oboli, you choose to use this as a birthday picture?” one Instagram user, @Bignamek, commented. “This is not nice, sir. I know it’s probably from a movie set, but bringing make-believe into reality like this is not good.”
Another fan, @KKendobaz, added:
