Famous Pluto, brother to viral Afrobeats star Shallipopi, recently shared how music became a big part of their family’s story.
He revealed that Shallipopi started making music in 2014, posting freestyles on YouTube just for fun. “We used to do music for cruise,” Pluto said. “We’d post it online, and if it blew, it blew.”
As time went on, Shallipopi and Zerrydl began to take music seriously, while Famous Pluto focused on dancing. Still, the love for music stayed strong in the family.
Pluto also recalled a funny moment with their mom. When he told her he wanted to start singing, she replied,
“You sabi sing too?” 😂
Now, the three brothers are turning their early freestyles into a full-blown Afrobeats family legacy, each finding success in their own way.
