UK police arrested the 36-year-old R&B star at a hotel in Manchester last week for allegedly attacking music producer Abraham Diaw with a tequila bottle during a night out in London. The incident reportedly caused serious injuries and led to a charge of grievous bodily harm.

On May 16, 2025, the court initially denied Chris Brown bail. However, Judge Tony Baumgartner of Southwark Crown Court reversed the decision on May 21, allowing the singer to walk free under strict conditions. Brown must pay a $6.7 million bail (₦10.6 billion), including $5.3 million upfront, with the rest due within seven days.

With the court’s approval, Chris Brown will now continue preparations for his Breezy Bowl XX Tour, which kicks off on June 8, 2025, in the Netherlands.

The case has gone viral online, with many fans and critics reacting to the latest twist in Brown’s long list of legal issues. Still, the Grammy-winning artist remains focused on his global tour.
