Hip-hop icon Lil Wayne is heading on tour this summer, promising an unforgettable experience for fans. The Lil Wayne 2025 tour kicks off on June 6, the same day he’s expected to release his highly anticipated album, “Tha Carter VI.”
Weezy will stop in 34 cities across North America, with opening acts Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington joining him at every show. From chart-topping classics to surprises from the new album, fans can expect a high-energy performance packed with nostalgia and fresh heat.
Lil Wayne initially teased the release of Carter VI during a Super Bowl commercial earlier this year. Specifically, the ad featured jerseys with the numbers 06-06-25 and a “Do Not Disturb” sign, cleverly hinting at the album’s arrival.
At the same time, fans can look forward to seeing him live, as the tour kicks off at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City — marking Lil Wayne’s first-ever headlining show at the venue. Afterward, he’ll make stops in major cities across the country. Ultimately, the tour will wrap up on October 2 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The “Carter” album series, which began in 2004, turned Lil Wayne into a global rap icon. With fans waiting nearly seven years since “Carter V,” anticipation for this release is sky-high.
