Teni Shuts Down Sister Rivalry Rumors , Says the Hate Is Fake and a Collab Is Coming

By;Ezurumem Obinna

Teni the Entertainer pulled up to Maxdrive with Vibes Gist this week and gave fans exactly what they needed real talk, no filter. The Nigerian pop star sat down, got comfortable, and addressed the one topic the internet refuses to leave alone which is  her relationship with sister Niniola.

She Came to Set the Record Straight

Teni did not dance around it. She came in, spoke about herself, her family, and then went straight for the rumors that have been circulating online for way too long. The fake rivalry narrative between her and Niniola? She called it exactly what it is  funny. Not hurtful or  Not concerning. Just funny.

“We Are Not in Competition”

Teni made it plain. She and her sister are not competing with each other not for fans, not for relevance, not for anything. They are two artists doing their own thing, built from the same foundation, moving at their own pace.

But here is where it gets interesting. She did not just shut down the hate  she flipped it. Teni revealed that she and Niniola actually have a project coming together. A collab. So while social media was busy manufacturing a rivalry, the two sisters were apparently in the studio making music. The internet really does too much sometimes.

Social Media Needs to Relax

Teni had a message for the section of the internet that keeps trying to force drama between family members stop it. She was not aggressive about it, but she was clear. Nobody is buying the hate narrative, least of all the two people it is supposedly about. It is the kind of clapback that does not need volume to land. She said it once, calmly, and moved on.

Fans Are Here for the Collab Energy

The mention of an upcoming joint project has the fanbase buzzing cause two of Nigeria’s most distinct female voices on the same record is not a small thing. What Teni showed in that interview was simple. Family is not a competition. Real bonds do not crack under social media pressure. And sometimes the best response to manufactured drama is to show up, laugh at it, and announce a collab in the same breath.

That is very Teni. And fans would not have it any other way.
