The rapper made the move after her song hit one billion streams. She took to Twitter to thank her fans and offered to do a cash giveaway. A Nigerian man identified as Shocka Artist used the opportunity to call on the rapper for aid. He disclosed that his mother has cancer, and she has been told that she only has months to live.
The female rapper promised to send a sum of N2.2 million (£5k) to him. She also asked him to get her some healthy food and make her smile.
